vacancy Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in French Language
Do you have a passion for innovative teaching and helping students develop the linguistic and intercultural skills needed to succeed in a global world? At The University of Law, we’re looking for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in French Language to join our Modern Languages team.
A New Language Programme at the University of Law
The Language Programme is a new initiative within the Academic Development and Research department at the University of Law. Students at the University of Law can study a range of disciplines, including Business, Computer Science, Criminology, Law, Policing, and Psychology. The purpose of the Language Programme is to enrich the student experience by offering high-quality language and intercultural learning opportunities in Spanish, French and German alongside students’ degrees, either for credit or as additional non-credit modules. In addition, the non-credited provision will be available to staff, alumni, and members of the general public.
Aligned with the University of Law’s core values, the Language Programme plays a central role in supporting both employability and internationalisation across the institution. By developing learners’ linguistic confidence and cultural awareness, language lecturers enhance and help develop readiness to work across borders, to collaborate in diverse environments, and to engage with international communities and individuals. The inclusion of modern languages within an applied curriculum reflects our commitment to preparing graduates for success in a competitive, interconnected world.
This is a unique and truly exciting opportunity to join a new team of modern language professionals and help shape a programme that brings together current trends in language learning and the needs of UK Higher Education.
