Join the University of Law as our dedicated AI Innovation Specialist
As our AI Innovation Specialist, you will support the University's strategic ambition to embed artificial intelligence safely, ethically, and effectively across all our schools. In this exciting role, you will work in close partnership with the Associate Professor for AI, and the TELT Team, contributing to curriculum innovation, staff capability building, and the pedagogically sound use of AI tools.

As our AI Innovation Specialist, you will be:
Provide expert learning technology support for university staff in the production of AI-enhanced learning materials and activities, which apply sound pedagogy to create an outstanding student learning experience across all delivery modes
Assist with the development of staff training materials in close collaboration with the Associate Professor for AI, Director of TELT and Head of Digital Education, focusing on AI literacy, ethical AI use, curriculum design, and innovative teaching practice
Develop a strong working understanding of our new AI platform by collaborating directly with the product team, participating in user testing, and providing pedagogical feedback
Support the Associate Professor for AI in promoting, advocating for, and championing the effective use of AI across the University
Provide expert advice and guidance on the use of AI-generated data and learning analytics to improve the student experience and outcomes
Is this you?
You will have a solid technical proficiency with AI tools and applications, as well as a strong knowledge of pedagogical theory and practice, particularly in relation to technology-enhanced learning. We are also looking for candidates with:
Excellent communication skills, including ability to present to groups and provide one-to-one support
Understanding of how AI can enhance student learning, engagement, and outcomes
Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject, and a relevant teaching qualification
Knowledge of safe, ethical, and pedagogically sound integration of AI in education
Adaptability and willingness to engage with emerging technologies
