Student Recruitment Officer (London)
Are you passionate about education and inspiring future students?
We're looking for a confident, motivated and highly organised Student Recruitment Officer to join our Domestic Student Recruitment team at The University of Law. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys presenting, building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and delivering engaging events that make a real difference to young people's futures.
We have one vacancy available, supporting the South of England region and based primarily from our London Bloomsbury campus.
About the Role
As a Student Recruitment Officer, you will support the Student Events Manager, working alongside two officers based in the North and Midlands, to deliver an ambitious outreach and recruitment programme designed to raise awareness of our Business, Computer Science, Criminology, Psychology and wider non-law portfolio.
This is a fast-paced, target-driven role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for building relationships with schools and colleges, delivering impactful presentations and workshops, and supporting a range of recruitment events that contribute directly to student recruitment targets.
This is a predominantly field-based role, requiring regular travel across Inner and Outer London and across the South region to attend schools, colleges, universities, careers fairs, and other recruitment events.
When not attending events, you will be based at your local campus, with London Bloomsbury as your primary campus location. You may work from home for up to one day per week, subject to business needs and event commitments.
You will also be required to attend London Bloomsbury regularly for team meetings, training, planning activities and wider departmental events.

As our Student Recruitment Officer, you will:
Organise, coordinate and deliver over 150 outreach and recruitment activities annually, with a focus on concentrated delivery periods across the working week
Developing and delivering engaging presentations, workshops and information sessions to prospective students, parents and advisers
Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, careers advisers and key stakeholders
Represent The University of Law at careers fairs, universities, exhibitions, open days and recruitment events
Support the planning and delivery of on-campus and virtual recruitment activities
Contribute to achieving regional and institutional recruitment targets
Maintain accurate records, event reports and stakeholder engagement activity through CRM systems and internal processes
Support the Student Ambassador programme, including event coordination and communication
Location and Travel
This is a predominantly field-based role, requiring regular travel across Inner and Outer London and across the South region. However, flexibility is required, and occasional support for activity in other regions may be necessary.
Given the requirement to attend campuses and events across the region regularly, applicants are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance of London and maintain this for the duration of employment.
This is essential to support effective delivery of campus-based activity, manage travel requirements and minimise business-related expenses.
When not attending events, you will be expected to work from your local campus, with London Bloomsbury acting as your main campus base.
You will be required to attend quarterly team meetings at various campus locations. These meetings, led by the Student Events Manager, will support team alignment, professional development and cross-regional collaboration.
This role involves frequent regional travel, occasional evening and weekend work, and overnight stays where required.
We are looking for people who are/have:
Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and processes
Confidence building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Experience planning, coordinating or delivering events, outreach activities or customer facing engagement
Strong administrative skills and confidence using CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools
A solutions-focused approach, with the ability to think strategically, contribute effectively to targets, and proactively share ideas and insights to improve engagement and raise the profile of ULaw within key subject areas in a fast-paced environment
A full driving licence is desirable, although reasonable alternative arrangements will be considered where appropriate.
Application Deadline: 18th June 2026, with expected interview dates: 25th/26th June 2026
