An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Director (Undergraduate Programmes) to join our Business School Team on a full time, 1-year fixed term basis.
This is a hybrid position, working from one of our Business School campuses (London Moorgate, Birmingham or Manchester) and remotely.
As the Programme Director at University of Law Business School, you will be responsible for the development, design, quality, and delivery of a specific business programmes within the Business School. The Programme Director will coordinate and produce the design and delivery of course materials and assessments and oversee all aspects of the student experience and enhancement of student performance. The role requires close collaboration with the Associate PVC (Business) as well as Campus Directors, to ensure high standards of programme delivery across multiple campuses.

As the Programme Director at University of Law Business School, you will:
Oversee the design and production of course materials and assessments, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and are aligned with programme objectives
Promote and deliver innovation in teaching methods, through digital and online teaching provision that enhances delivery, course design and/or assessment.
Work closely with the programme leadership & management team to manage day-to-day delivery of individual modules and areas of the programme.
Lead the development of specific programmes, ensuring alignment with the Business School’s strategic goals, and the academic design and quality standards set out at the University curriculum level.
Monitor and evaluate student performance, implementing strategies for improvement and enhancement of the student learning experience
We are looking for a professional and credible leader, who can demonstrate high levels collaboration and the ability to take macro view and present large- or small-scale solutions to issues.
You will also be/have:
Postgraduate qualification, PGCHE (or equivalent) and a Fellow of Advance HE
Senior Management (e.g. Head of Department level) experience within a business, educational or commercial environment with demonstrable success in influencing strategy, business and academic development
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility in approach to the role and its requirements
High level project management skills
