Are you passionate about supporting students to navigate financial and housing challenges?
Join our Student Support & Wellbeing team as a Money and Housing Advisor, where you'll provide expert advice and make a positive impact on student well-being. You’ll be part of a collaborative team while making a tangible difference in students' lives. The role is full time working 35 hours per week on a 6 month fixed term contract, working remotely (within the UK).
As our Money and Housing Advisor, you will:
- Provide professional advice on student financial support, welfare benefits, debt management, and housing matters.
- Manage a caseload, interpreting legislation and advocating for students with landlords, creditors, and housing authorities.
- Assess applications for financial support and deliver workshops on housing and financial literacy.
- Contribute to student well-being initiatives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless support pathways.
Is this you?:
- Recent experience in student financial support, finance, or housing advice.
- Strong knowledge of UK student funding systems, housing legislation, and welfare benefits.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe, supportive environment.
