Salary: £20,400 (pro rata’d, actual salary for full time permanent is £40,800.00)
We are looking to recruit a Student Information Hub Manager on a Fixed Term Contract (Until December 2025) to join our Student Information team based in our busy London Bloomsbury Campus.
As a Student Information Hub Manager, you will be providing positive leadership, management, support and development to Student Information Officers on campus whilst fostering a team ethic. You will be leading the team at our largest campus, this will include the requirement to motivate staff, delegate and ensure effective communication across the team and wider campus community.
You will be an effective people manager, with experience of planning and coordinating workloads for a diverse team and providing a high level of service, support and advise to our London based students.
As our Student Information Hub Manager, you will:
- Manage the day-to-day operational activities of the Student Information Service in campus, ensuring that students can access the services they require throughout their on-course journey and that the student experience is prioritised at all times.
- Support the central quality unit for Student Information in the development of the service and the Student Information Hub in campus.
- Build effective relationships and collaborate with internal departments to facilitate the smooth running of services and ensure students and staff feel part of the ULaw community.
- Positively embrace change and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within Student Information and the wider University
We are looking for people who are/have:
- Broad experience of working in a demanding customer service driven environment.
- Experience setting and working to customer service driven SLAs and KPIs.
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to effectively use MS Office suite (particularly Word, Excel and email).
- Able to work in a high-pressured environment during peak periods.
- Polite, helpful and positive attitude.
- Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing and with a wide range of people.
Please note: This is an on campus role, with no opportunity of hybrid/remote working. The successful candidate will also be expected to cover weekend duties on a rota basis.
