Be the Technical Expert Behind Smarter Finance at ULaw
Are you ready to lead the technical development of financial systems in a high-impact role? At The University of Law, we’re looking for an additional Finance Systems Technical Lead to join our team and drive innovation across our core financial applications – including the Unit4 ERP platform.
Reporting to the Head of Finance Systems, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering reliable, customer-focused solutions that support strategic goals and enhance operational efficiency. If you're a systems expert with strong SQL skills, deep knowledge of Unit4 ERP, and a passion for improving processes, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a 24-month fixed term contract which adopts a hybrid approach with a balance of working from home and from our London Moorgate campus (once every two weeks)
Please note: Occasionally, you may be required onsite during project workshops (in the event of an online setting not being viable).
As our Finance Systems Technical Lead, you will:
- Lead the technical development, configuration, and support of our finance systems, primarily Unit4 ERP (Agresso).
- Design, test, and implement system improvements that maximise capabilities and deliver measurable value.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical advice to stakeholders and training for end users.
- Manage system upgrades and report development using tools like Excelerator, Information Browser, and SQL.
- Play a key role in cross-functional projects, auditor support, and system documentation.
Is this you?:
- A technical specialist with significant relevant experience in similar or related role in development and administration of large corporate systems mainly Unit4 ERP (Agresso)
- Proven track record in SQL, system design, and technical support.
- Experience of Report creation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a customer-first approach.
- A strong understanding of finance processes and reporting in a complex organisation.
- Creating and maintaining interfaces between different corporate systems.
