Lead the Change – Drive Change and Transformation at ULaw.

Are you an experienced change management professional with a passion for transformation and business readiness? The University of Law (ULaw) is seeking a Business Readiness Manager to play a pivotal role in preparing our teams for a major transformation programme, including the implementation of Ellucian Banner as our new Student Information System (SIS).

ULaw has experienced incredible growth and diversification in the last five years. To support our ambitious strategic goals, we are soon to deliver our major transformation programme, and this role is crucial in ensuring our teams are prepared for change.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract, where we are looking for somebody to start immediately and is a home based position (working remotely within the UK).

As our Business Readiness Manager, you will:

                • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to new ways of working
                • Support business teams in understanding and adopting Ellucian Banner
                • Deliver the change and readiness plan, and support the training needs analysis
                • Ensuring all business readiness activities are completed within agreed timescales.
                • Work with the change champions to build enthusiasm for the new service
                • Tracking onboarding and post-go-live challenges, offering interventions where needed.
                • Supporting training, onboarding, and embedding new processes.
                • Reporting on overall readiness and supporting immediate post-go-live processes.

                Is this you?:

We’re seeking an organised, analytical and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment with previous experience working as a Change Lead or Change Officer.

                • Strong knowledge of Ellucian Banner or equivalent experience in university transformation projects.
                • Experienced in supporting the roll out of new systems
                • Experience in training, communication and stakeholder engagement.
                • Ability to build relationships remotely and communicate effectively across all levels.
                • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Visio.

                Why join us?

Along with a starting salary of £65,000 per annum (pro rata) you’ll enjoy:

                • A generous annual leave entitlement of 30 days (+ stats)
                • Private Medical Scheme and Life Assurance
                • Contributory Pension Scheme
                • Season Ticket Loans and Student Discounts

The closing date for applications is: 3rd September 2025. We will be shortlisting throughout the advertising period and interviews may be scheduled before the closing date. Early application is therefore encouraged
