Join us as a Project Officer and help deliver The University of Law’s Transformation Programme, ensuring key projects run smoothly and effectively. This home-based role offers a unique opportunity to support a high-impact programme that streamlines processes, enhances the student and staff experience, and drives continuous improvement across the University.
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about project delivery? Join our Transformation Programme team and play a vital role in supporting project managers, capturing progress, and ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
This is a fixed-term role to cover maternity cover within the team until August 2026.
What you’ll do:
- Track project tasks, milestones, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues when required
- Set up and service meetings, taking accurate minutes and recording actions and decisions
- Maintain logs, project plans, and status reports, providing clear updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to support workshops and improvement initiatives
- Assist in producing project documentation, reports, and deliverables in a timely and accurate manner
- Support the smooth delivery of multi-functional projects across the University
Is this you?:
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Experience in project coordination, business improvement, or data-driven initiatives
- Proficient in MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders and support major change programmes
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, Six Sigma) is desirable
- Experience in higher education projects is a plus
