This home-based role offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-profile projects that support the University’s strategic goals and strengthen collaboration across academic, professional, and external partners.

Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for transformation, stakeholder engagement, and delivering meaningful change? • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, risks, and success criteria in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders
                • Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality standards
                • Develop and maintain robust project plans, reports, and documentation
                • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change, escalating where appropriate
                • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear communication and alignment
                • Integrate new programmes into University operations and planning systems
                • Champion best practice in project management and continuous improvement

                Is this you?:

                • Significant experience leading complex business transformation or change projects end-to-end
                • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and governance
                • Confident managing and influencing multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners
                • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
                • Strong commercial, financial, and analytical skills
                • Experience working in higher education, legal, or regulated environments is desirable
                • A project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, PMI-ACP) is desirable
                • Knowledge and understanding of HEIF and research funding is desirable

                Why join us?

Along with a competitive starting salary of £48,750, you’ll enjoy:

                • Generous annual leave entitlement of 30 days
